Valspar Élan Kitchen & Bath mid-sheen finish paint is a revolutionary low-odor paint, which delivers enduring beauty. This 100% acrylic latex enamel utilizes the latest engineered ceramic technology that is extremely easy to apply without spattering. Élan contains an antimicrobial agent to prevent microorganisms from degrading the product. It is ideal for use in high humidity, frequently scrubbed and washed areas. Élan produces an elegant, long lasting finish.

Recommended Uses: Interior wall, trim & ceilings, drywall, metal, plaster, Wood Brick & Cement.

Surface Coverage: 400 sq. ft./gal (at: 4.0 mil wet, 1.4 mil dry)

Surface Preparation: Read the Lead Warning in Cautions section. Thoroughly clean the surface and allow to dry. Remove wallpaper and loose, peeling paint. Patch cracks and spot prime. Dull glossy surfaces. Prime new wallboard with latex wall primer. Prime new wood with enamel undercoater or latex wall primer.

Application and Cleanup: Paint only when surface and air temperatures are 50–90 °F (10–32 ºC). Stir paint thoroughly. Intermix all containers to ensure uniform color. Apply with a premium quality roller, polyester brush or airless sprayer. Paint the ceiling first, then the walls. If applying by roller, roll from dry area into wet area using firm, crisscross strokes. Finish with long, even strokes in one direction. Clean tools and hands with warm, soapy water.
