After graduating college with a degree in interior design, Vogt worked as an ASID designer for several years before owning her own business in Metairie, Louisiana. When she retired, she began creating unique jewelry and pottery. Currently, Vogt is working on her fourth book. She and her husband, Tim, love to travel.
