DEATH LURKS OUT OF SIGHT One evening, Yuki returns home to find an arrestingly beautiful girl standing outside her apartment building--Tamamo, whom she falsely promised to accept as her apprentice during Halloween Night. Now obligated to take the girl under her wing, Yuki reluctantly begins the process of training Tamamo and fifinds herself growing attached. While this is happening, Yuki reaches out to Rinrin, a retired player who had a successful career in death games despite being blind. Well aware of her right eye's failing vision, Yuki is eager to learn Rinrin's techniques, but the woman's idea for teaching them is violently eccentric: a deadly scavenger hunt on a desert island. Sometime later, Yuki takes on Royal Palace, a game consisting of brutal one-on-one sword duels. But given the importance of depth perception in the competition, will Yuki have any hope of surviving with an incomplete grasp of Rinrin's methods and a right eye that has gone completely blind?
