WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE OFFERED LEADING UP TO THE TOURNAMENT GAMES IN DAYTON?
Yes! The Big Hoopla hosts various community events in conjunction with the tournament in Dayton. Visit the “Community” tab at the top of the site to learn more about the various Hoopla community events.
IN DAYTON, WHAT TV STATION WILL COVER THE TOURNAMENT GAMES?
All NCAA Tournament games are be broadcast live on CBS, TNT, TBS and truTV. Please check your local cable or satellite provider for specific channels. Historically the NCAA First Four games are carried by truTV.
WHAT IS THE SCHEDULE FOR THIS YEAR’S TOURNAMENT?
The 2024 Tournament will be played in Dayton, Ohio and the University of Dayton Arena on Tuesday, March 19 and Wednesday, March 20. For a complete schedule, visit ncaa.com and select Men’s Basketball.
WHAT TIME DO THE DOORS OPEN FOR EACH GAME?
In general, the doors open at UD Arena open ninety (90) minutes prior to the first game of each session.
IS THERE AN ATM ONSITE?
No, The University of Dayton Arena is 100% Cashless. Ticket office, Concession stands and the Cronin Family Spirit shop are now 100% cashless. All will accept all major credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DOES THE CONCESSION STAND ACCEPT?

CAN I LEAVE MY CAR OVERNIGHT AT THE ARENA?
No overnight parking will be allowed on any UD Arena parking lot.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO PARK AT UD ARENA FOR THE TOURNAMENT?
All-session passes (includes Tuesday, March 19 and Wednesday, March 20) for lots A and C are $25, and single-session passes are $15 per session.
If you do not purchase a parking pass ahead of time, parking will be available in lot D on the day of the game for $20 cash at the gate.

HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?

WHAT CAN I BRING INTO UD ARENA?
- Bags and Backpacks, except for purses and diaper bags
- Bottles or cans or beverage containers of any time
- Large umbrellas
- Laser pointers
- Noise making devices of any kind (i.e. bells, whistles, horns, etc.)
- Illegal drugs and alcohol
- Strollers
- Weapons of any kind, including lawfully concealed firearms
- Commercial signs or banners without the prior approval of UD Arena
- Any item deemed to challenge public safety
- Cameras ARE permitted for still photography and video for personal use, but lens length must be no longer than approximately one inch, and no additional detachable lenses or tri-pods will be permitted.
